How To Host Thanksgiving In Your Cleveland Apartment

Can we all agree that 2021 lasted like twenty minutes? The Fourth of July just happened. Right? Right?

Now it’s almost Thanksgiving and the holiday jingles are flooding the airwaves once again. As the world continues adapting to its new dynamic, hosting Thanksgiving dinner in your Cleveland-area apartment can be easily and safely pulled off.

Make A List, Check It Twice

We got a little ahead of ourselves with that header, but it bears mentioning anyway. Our apartments are spacious. There’s no doubt about that. Thanksgiving is a time for family, friends, and celebration. Still, if you aren’t planning on reserving one of our community rooms, it’s highly unlikely every family member, friend, and their mother will fit into your rental unit.

Pieces Of Flair

Oh, that just brought back memories (Facebook, circa 2008). In all seriousness, decorating your apartment for a holiday is a cinch. With an abundance of dollar stores nearby, it’s also very affordable. Cozy autumn colors are all the rage these days.

Clean As You Go

The two most exciting things about Thanksgiving dinner: Preparing the food and eating the food. Obviously eating is number one on our list. More on that later.

When you’re preparing a meal large enough to feed hungry loved ones, it’s always best to clean while cooking. Rinse and repeat. Not only does this meal prep hack save time and reduce clutter, but it also saves resources – including water.

You’ve Got To Move It Move It

If you’re on a budget and don’t feel like renting one of our two community rooms, there are ways to make your unit even more spacious. Moving furniture around is not a fun task, but it does create an adequate amount of space for dinner guests – particularly those who need to get up and do some jumping jacks after indulging in a delicious meal! Just be sure to have them leave the brick shoes at the door.

It’s Not Thanksgiving Without Food

We’re Americans. We like to eat. It’s truly the best part of Thanksgiving. Since you’ve done all the prep work, it’s finally time to treat yourself and your loved ones to the comfort of a home cooked meal. If space in your fridge is limited, encourage your clan to take some leftovers!
