Summer is still in full swing. Our A/C’s are on full blast and our desire to venture back out into the world is higher than ever.
Northeast Ohio is home to a wide array of family-friendly summer activities, and some are right in our own backyard! Just 30 minutes away from downtown Cleveland, Brunswick has become one of Cleveland’s most desirable suburbs for families. So, we’ve compiled a list of five fun things to do in Brunswick this summer.
Princess Ledges Nature Preserve
Take a hike! No, really. Let’s take a hike. With 1 mile hiking loop, Princess Ledges Nature Preserve features some of Northeast Ohio’s oldest sandstone ledge formations.
This tranquil space is situated right in the heart of Brunswick. The ledges are most notable for being over 1100 feet in length and offering an abundance of wildlife and wildflowers.

Susan Hambley Nature Center
It should come at no surprise that we’ve suggested even more hiking trails. This is Ohio. We like nature. Perhaps it’s because Mother Nature herself is unpredictable in our region. One day there isn’t a cloud in the sky, the next it’s pouring rain. So, we take what we can get.
If stopping to admire the 200-year old trees isn’t for you, one of the may fun things to do in Brunswick this summer is fishing in Lake Brunswick – an extension of the Susan Hambley Nature Center.
Want to bring the kids? Inside the nature center are live animals and a reading room.

Since opening in 2015, Larb has been consistently ranked as one of the best Thai restaurants in Cleveland. Known for their pad thai and pho dishes, this no frills restaurant is perfect for dine-in or take out orders.
If you’re hungry for dessert, the one and only Honey Hut drive thru location is just a few minutes south.
